Information & updates

Under the Transport Act 2000 NATS (En Route) plc (NERL) is licenced by the UK Government to provide en route air traffic services in the UK.

The Air Traffic Services Licence (“Licence”) provides the basis upon which NERL is economically regulated by the CAA, principally through price controls that are imposed periodically in respect of its Licensed services. For further information, latest regulatory publications and access to the Licence visit the CAA’s website.

NERL has submitted its business plan for the next price control period 2023-2027, more commonly known as NR23, to the CAA. Further information is available in our NR23 Report.
