Airspace consultations
Any proposed changes to the structure of airspace must now follow the CAA’s Airspace Design guidance (a document known as CAP1616). This sets out the requirements for how we undertake an airspace change, including engagement and consultation with stakeholders. Our aim is to work with communities where flights may be affected below 7,000ft at an early stage of any proposed change, to ensure community considerations are factored into our airspace design thinking. See below for a list of our consultations.
