Supplier Segmentation

Once a supplier is approved for use within NATS, we assess which segment the supplier should sit in. Segmentation is based on the supplier’s criticality to our current and future business operations, and the segment a supplier is assigned to defines how we manage our relationship and engage with those partners and suppliers, as well as how we evaluate and continuously improve our relationship and contract performance.

The segmentation of each supplier is reviewed regularly, coupled with on-boarding new suppliers, as the nature of supply and business need changes.

NATS Supplier Conference

We hold an annual conference for around 40 of our largest suppliers where we provide updates on our business and provide an opportunity for networking.

Prompt Payment Code

We support the principles of the Prompt Payment Code (PPC) which sets standards for payment practices and best practice and is administered by the Chartered Institute of Credit Management. Compliance with the principles of the Code is monitored and enforced by the Prompt Payment Code Compliance Board. The Code covers prompt payment as well as wider payment procedures
